Cognate with Muong tểnh, tiểnh, Tho [Cuối Chăm] teːŋ³ and Kri têêngq ("to arrive"). Compare Proto-Tai *C̬.tɤŋᴬ (whence Thai ถึง (tʉ̌ng)), Lakkia taŋ²³¹, Maonan taŋ¹, and Proto-Malayo-Polynesian *datəŋ (whence Malay datang, Tagalog dating).
